知觉 | This just made me laugh

Posted by: Dom Lowth

I received the following message in response to one of my earlier thunk posts: ‘Things I don’t understand about people (vol. 1)'. Since then, it's sat on my phone and I’ve read it through many times, always making a mental note to post it at some point. Well that time is now.

Don’t worry, this isn’t my way of avoiding writing a proper update this week – there’s a standard post on its way – but I am running slightly dry on ideas at the moment, so hopefully this will give me a little more time to find inspiration, and some room to manoeuvre in the strict (ha ha...) thunk schedule we adhere to.

What I liked most about it was that once I’d got used to his unique use of language, I realised that the guy actually makes some quite interesting points. His views on Chinese tradition are also hilarious.

It went exactly like this:

dude honestly i luved the blog! its excellent
specially would lyk to say abt the first 3 questions –
1. y people cant talk to new people?
yes u r ryt that they must hav talked to the alrdy exisiting persons in their lyf at sme point in tym so y hesitate… well basically coz one that they stop trusting person n cant help in being hesitant to talking… secondly nt all can talk first so wen smeone makes the move n talks n interact 1st them they start talking n thus have the people in their lyfs
2. y chinese use chopsticks?
A super funny as well as interesting thing to think abt XD bt they just want to keep on a grab to some old religion thgs of theirs n spread it around the world coz lets face it that its totally an art to eat wid those things :P
3. y music effects us so much?
this in my opinion is coz lyf is full of complications n stress so wen we hear smethg that sings abt thgs n say our unspoken words in a beautiful manner we get emotionally connected plus music never talks back or argues its just one sided rythem

I don’t even feel like this needs any rounding off. What more is there to say? Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. See you soon.

Update - Having promised yesterday that a proper post was on its way, I have to admit now that I just can't do it. I'm leaving at the crack of dawn tomorrow morning to kick off my gold Duke of Edinburgh expedition in North Wales, and have consequently also spent most of today preparing and packing for the week of walking. Please excuse my lack of any ability to plan ahead, and do come back next week, when there will definitely be a post uploaded and waiting for you to read. I promise. Sorry. Love from Dom.
